Naomi Black ...........has lived in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico for eight years. In 2010, she opened her studio/workshop, Off the Beach Workshop and Studio. She began by offering seashell crafting workshops and displaying her own seashell art and her Re-Purposed and Re-Constructed Clothing line is called SweetNaomi ReCreations. Today, the studio also includes an eclectic collection of arts and crafts which constantly change with her whim. These include Assemblage Jewelry and all sorts of fun “eclectica” for the beach house.

Our history is quite simple but perhaps unique. A few years ago, I saw my wife, Bev Gammon, purchase some stones from Michael's & put together some earrings. She had so much fun doing it, I encouraged her to think about designing such jewelry for a retail marketplace. She accepted the idea. With her talent and my experience in fabrications, we formed a team & the rest is history. We are now in production & the jewelry that Bev is designing is light years ahead of our beginning products.
